I did a search nothing came up.
there is a program (pimpmypsp) that lets you cange the font and boot sound but this program has dumb defaults is there any other way to change my boot sound and fonts?
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/325467 go there for fonts as for the boot screen there is a program but it was a while back i cant rememer the name. If you dont like default fonts you could always convert your own.
Take note when you do these tweaks you are accessing flash and run the risk of bricking psp if something goes terribly wrong.
I don't know how to change the boot sounds, b/c I was never really interested in learning, but to change your Fonts, download Flashmod 0.3. That comes with a Font mod installer. You will have 16 Font files I think. You'll have to look through the forums on qj or DCEmu, it will give you a little tutorial on the install. ok, nevermind. I kept the files on my PSP. Here is how you do it:
Take whatever font you want for your PSP. It is going to be called a .ttf file. (Microsoft Windows "True Type Font") Take this font and turn it into a ".pgf" file. You will need to browse forums to learn how. Or send "GtaUK" (spell his name EXACTLY like that) a PM - he is on the forums at:
sign up and just look for him. He will make the .ttf file into a .pgf. He did it for me, so I know he'll help. (Tell him sn00chi3 sent you)
Now, what you want to do is take the .pgf file once it's converted and make 17 copies of it. (Seriously) So that's 18 copies in total. (Right click on .pgf file>copy>paste the copy of .pgf 17 times.)
Now you will have 18 diff font icons. Each one will something like "Copy 2 of English 111 Vivace BT" or whatever font you have. Rename all of the files like this:
I can't remember if these files are all named in caps or lower case. Try lower case first. But this is EXACTLY what you name these files once you have the .pgf file. (The reason this is done is so no matter what language you have selected, your new font will show up under all the languages.) Hope that helps.
You can make your own using the MFAudio program. Just download the PSPMenu Edit program. It comes with the boot sound changer and all the stuff for it.
Quote:Although it has been tested to work on 1.5 PSPs, this program does flash your PSP, and with any program that writes to flash, It could break your PSP.
bombay yeah I have that but i dont no how to change the defaults (I asked in a thread but no 1 replied) Thats why i wanted to know if there was any other programs.
