I had DVD shrink, DVD decrypter, with any DVD running in the background on my old computer, with very little problems. I recently got a new laptop, and I'm wondering what I should install since decrypter is no longer availible. Thanks for your help...

DVD Decrypter combined with PgcEdit and the Psl2 plugin wizard can rip any movie out there. I have never had a problem using this method. Some of the other methods may sometimes require that you wait for an update.

Clone2 and any dvd are what I go with but fab decrypter and shrink are a great combo as well.

Since you already have AnyDVD you should be able to break all the encryptions. If you are using another program to burn then you would not need DVD Decrypter but it is still good to have and does still break the protection on most movies and does a great job on dual layer media backups. Some of the best apps are still free and they are DVDFab Decrypter, DVDFabDecrypter, DVDShrink, ImgBurn, VobBlanker, DVDRebuilder, PGCEdit, ISOBuster, FixVTS and DVD43 to name a few.
