When i use DVD shrink there are two types of audio DTS 5.1-ch1 and AC3 5.1 5.1. When i unchecked the DTS my moive sound was little low. The voice of the people in the movie was very low but the other sounds were very high. If I chek DTS 5.1 will this help the sound of the people's voices or is it just the DVD?

Welcome to the forum.
DTS Discrete 5.1 channel surround system is similar but it is not the same as Dolby Digital. Dolby Digital is the DTV Model but DTS competes with it on DVD and in the theaters.

I only use the AC3 since that is Dolby and my stereo system is not DTS. DTS audio is larger in size than the AC3. What I have to do is to turn up the center speaker and adjust the other speakers when I play some movies. At first I thought I had bad audio on the copy but on the original it is low also. So I now just adjust the audio to what I need

AC3 will also play or revert to stereo mode if that is all you have but since I have never tried DTS I can not report on that converting to Stereo

Yeah same here. The orginial copy is also low for audio. So do i adjust my speakers by fiddling with the volume level?
