First, I've read through many posts to the forum and it is nice to see the support and the solutions that have been provided. Unfortunately, none of these have worked in my case.

My scenario is: I have been burning DVDs since the Jan/2006 using Nero. I have a new HP external burner on a Dell D600. If I burn/copy a DVD using only Nero (4.7 to 4.7 or 8.5 to 8.5-using Verbatim media) --- works like a charm, nearly every time.

I have been trying to use DVD Shrink to use only the 4.7's, but have NEVER gotten it to work with any of the adjustments from friends or what I've read on this forum.

I've used DVD Decrypter to disc--then DVD Shrink to the burner
I've used DVD Shrink with the Nero option to burn
I've even use DVD Shrink to the hard drive and then Nero to Burn the disc.
I had a friend follow the last one on his maching using the same media I'm using (Verbatim) and all went well. Seems like Nero is having trouble, unless it is the only player on the field.

I'm posting the last burn log--thanks in advance for your help.

Try version 6.6.0.18 from here:

http://my.afterdawn.com/locoeng/blog_entry.cfm/280

Slow your burn down to 4X.

You might try shutting down as much as possible non-essential programs, as you are using almost all of your memory.
About the update, LOCOENG is right,
but be sure not to upgrade past 6.6.0.18 because it will cause an error with Shrink and Nero.

Also, if you are burning from a DVD to a Blank DVD, the DVD might need cleaned, or if you are burning from your hard drive you might try running the files on your computer to make sure they are not corrupted.
