I was trying to burn a DVD and I kept on getting the same error. I'm using DVD Shrink burning with Nero. The funny thing is that it worked perfectly before. I'm a little new at this so any pointers or tips would be great. Here's my log:

Try another brand of media, CMC's are some of the worst you can buy. Try Verbatim (MIJ OR MIT) or Taiyo Yuden, Sony, Fuji, Maxell (MIJ).

I assume this is a laptop, can you tell me the model number, etc...

From taking a look at these drives, it looks like they are pretty picky on thier media.

You might try going to toshiba's web site and getting the firmware (I am just assuming once again that this is a toshiba), but I am not sure if they have OEM firmware updates avaliable.

I tried that already actually. And it still gives me an error. The problem isn't Nero, is it? It's the firmware? BTW, Thanks for all your help so far. :o)

Firmware or the Media, because that is some low quality stuff.
