i have tried lots of backup games with swapmagic. (my console is PAL system. )the PAL backup games are working perfectly. some of NTSC games have problem with sound is slower than the video. but it's fine to me. however when i tried FF12, the black and white mode(normal start) is working perfectlly. but when i use PAL special mode to start the game, it just stock at the beginning when the CG just start. then the game stops there forever.
i'm using philips 16x dvd-r. i have tried other media as well. still doesn't work. i'm using NERO buring games. or should i use acholo 120%? or there is some setting that i should be noticed when i'm burning the game?
somebody help,please!!

hello! guys!

the same happened with me when I tried to play "Xenosaga". It was necessary set the game to NTSC at the begining, but with FF XII, I don´t know because don´t have it yet.
I live in a PAL zone (Portugal), and had to acquire a multisystem TV set to play NTSC backups, or else , I got images in blak & wite.
The best dvds for ps2 are: Traxdata,TDK, and Verbatim.
Don´t use Maxell dvds, because they need to much time for loadings, or simply don´t start the game after the title shows up.
Those three above are the best, and believe me,I have tried dozens of marks
