@gregrod,

that's some good stuff you found at Fry's right there...either or, both the MIJ 8x dvd-r/dvd+r are Taiyo Yuden made...TYG02/YUDEN000T02 respectively~ :)

i wiped out Staples a LONG time ago when they USED to have these MIJ 30-pack colored Fujis on sale...but, good find nevertheless~ :)

Does anyone out there know the SONY DVD+ or -RW's (in the STAPLES sale) Media code? Are they Ricoh Japan? I couldnt find them on the list...

huh... that is good but I don't do rebates. I think that they are a farce. I tried rebates and I have been burned too many times. Just mark the stuff down and don't make me jump thru hoops to get a few bucks back.

I hear you, Greg! I think Staples is the only one that's really not too bad- Easy Rebates are on-line, and you can get the check in 2 weeks. I used to do rebates alot, and, as long as I kept track of them, I always got my money. The pain was when they said I didnt send them the right receipt, or I didnt buy it within the correct time (which I always did). Then you have to pursue it with a phone call, which always got results. Of course every company is different, and that's how they make their $...by hoping you dont go to the trouble to get it.

I have to confess that I, too, am getting tired of waiting for a check for 6 weeks. Id rather pay a few bucks more and know that I dont have to jump through 5 hoops to get my $4 rebate.
...BUT, if you do rebates, that's an amazing deal!
