how to remove text banner from mpeg movie?

hia all (: please help me eith this1:
im tring to play an mpeg file,
every 5 min or so, a writing appears and stays in the middle of the screen.
the only thing that makes it disappear is moving the seek slider.
the text appears in random locations which means it is not part of the movie right?
how can i remove this?
