does anyone know which one is bigger in size?
cuz i have an avi file..and i have to convert it to mpeg4 to play it on my psp..but wen i convert it ... the file size gets alot bigger.. like twice the size...and i used a very low quality as well....

AVI is definetly smaller and call me stupid but didn't you just answer your own question?

What version is your psp because if you're on 1.5 you can the PSPlayerMT. http://dl.qj.net/PSPlayerMT-For-PSP-PSP-Homebrew-Applications/pg/...

Of course
Avi and MPEG-4 have different compression formats.
So when you are going from AVI to MPEG-4 you are actually uncompressing the video file a bit, hence getting a bigger file.
