Hey people, sorry for starting yet ANOTHER thread, i just have a few questions though.
As you all know, there are an increasing number of games being released in the US that now support Progressive Scan (sadly, this isn't true for us PAL-gamers, who get very few Pro-Scan games...) These games support a resolution of 525p, which should be fine for a PAL TV (since PAL has 625 lines of resolution on screen.) However, NTSC games run at 60hz. I was wondering whether or not a PAL HDTV (more appropriately, this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000B5VKYE/203-4036924-1... i couldn't find many better pages]) would be able to display the 525p at 60hz Progressive, as im thinking of buying this TV soon (at a cheaper price of course.) Games like Star Ocean 3, Radiata Stories, and Gran Turismo 4 would look really good in Pro-Scan, just need to know that the PAL-TVs support it.
I know there is a program called swap magic3.
http://www.swapmagic3.com It is normally what I use to play copied games.
It has a selector for PAL or NTSC mode and changes
the rates accordingly.
Im sure there is a way to get it to work.
Cheers!
I think you misunderstood the question Jizmak. Im asking about the TV, and Pro scan. Just wanna know whether or not that TV will support 60hz pro scan or not, cos otherwise i dont think i'll be able to play any of my games in Pro Scan mode.
