is there a release date for the white psp in uk or america. i can get a jap one but i dont want the hassle of worryin about being stuck with the crappy o/x button configuration. i beleive the usa models have same x/o config as uk which is fine. but i dont even know if it is out/coming out in the usa. i would obviously prefer a uk for my movies etc. thanks

I have a White Jap PSP and have no problems with the O/X buttons at all ?

What is meant to be wrong with them ?

the o button is the confirm select action etc button and the x is cancel back etc button

You can change the x/o configuration with alot of programs, and japan is the same as uk region 2..

but u can only change the buttons with programs on certain firmwares so if i get one turns out u cant use the app on that firmware then im scrued. and i know they play the same region movies but i thought it was jap dat had da reverse buttons 2 over here (uk)

I have never encountered any issues with the O/X buttons. All games and apps that I run work fine.

Possibly, cos the box had an "F" on it, yet the PSP was a v1.5 from the moment I turned it on.
