Is there someone out there who can tell me what's wrong with this- I use a dvd decrytor to read and write the image file at 1x speed and i've also tried alcohol 120% but none of them will read on my ps2. I use dvd-r (datawrite) and ive also tried jessops dvd+r but they wont read. When i put in the -r , it tells me that it is an invalid ps2 disc and when i try the +r, there is just a pink flash followed by a black screen. Surely someone can help? PLz

You can not copy Swap Magic it has to be the original disk.

he is not trying to copy swapmagic. duck999, go buy better media like tayo yuden or verbatim, bad media is why game couldn't boot.

Possible Issues:

As I_suck suggested You probably want to buy better media (They're all pretty inexpensive now)

You may not be booting correctly, make sure not to use the open/close button when inserting the burned copy and make sure to lock the tray back in place

try a special boot by pressing square

Worst case scenario, your SM is defective, most places have like a 15 return policy so get on that right away
