Please help, copying discs w/ DVD shrink, burning w/ decrypter (ISO files) and the discs play on computer only, not on players (all players, including ones that always play DVD-r's). Is there something I'm doing wrong? Any other free software available? Also I am not very tech savy, so please answer as if talking to a small child, haha. Thanks.

@jwv2
Welcome to aD!
Sounds like a problem with the brand of discs and or burn speed (players can be picky!) So to help here's some questions for you.
1st what brand of discs are you using? I'm assuming you're using the -r format from your post.
How about the burn speed - what speed are you burning at?
What's the make and model of your drive? (you can find that in decrypter under destination)
How about the fimware - what version? To check for an update in decrypter go to tools>drive>check for firmware update. You will see this:

OK the discs I'm using are memorex DVD+R.
For burn speed I seleted max in the drop down box
Make and model of the drive i guess are (1:0:0)TEAC DV-W34EW (D:)

So what's ur opinion? It used to burn fine from shrink to "record now", but w/ decrytper it will on play on lap tops, P.C.s, etc.

Well I would start by burning the memorex slower- not at max. Actually I would switch to better media that is more compatible /w burners and players like Verbatim or made in Japan only Fuji, Sony or Maxell. Memorex does not always use the best manufacturers.
I can't find squat on your drive - very unusual. Check the fimrware update option in DVD Decrypter (see above post) and see if an update can be found.
Do you dvd players support the +r format? If they are older they may not.

yes, my players support DVD-R. so switching disc brands or speeds may fix it?

Yes - switching the brand and the burn speed should help. Some players can be very picky w/ media.
I still like to find your drive to see if a firmware update is available and to see what burns speeds it supports. For now try 4x.

Thanks binkie I will try x4 speed now. I don't really know what firmware is, let alone how to update it. I'll post if the speed alone helped, and I'll also pick up a different brand of disc. Thanks.

Not a problem!
Firmware helps your drive 'learn' read and write strategies of media especially the newer ones. It can also sometimes unlock features of your drive. If the drive doesn't recognize the media code it will use a generic writing pattern. Some times it works - usually best to keep the firmware up to date to decrease any chances of problems. Hope that helps!
