Just when I thought this was settled.... LOL

Okay, reading through the some related threads I came across one that states it is possible to do what I asked originally in this post and had been told was not possilbe. To wit:

I'd like to use DVDFab Decrypter to rip a DVD to my HD for those newer (ie, Sony Pictures) movies that cannot be ripped with DVD Decrypter alone. Then use the "Create: ISO image file and burn with DVD Decrypter" option with Shrink to burn out a 1:1 DVD-9 copy (keeping the "remove layer break" option checked)

Will this not work? I know, I know - I can always try and find out. But that's a two buck experiment (sorry for those that missed it, but Best Buy had DL's on sale last week, 20 for $40)

That is the method I used.. and the break isn't smooth.. it hangs on it and you have to rewind back and then it will play through it. I am not sure if it is from the removing break option in Shrink or what... but I am looking for a better method as well. Because this doesn't quite make a Coaster but it is slightly annoying when watching the DVD
