I just got a new slim line havent had it for but 2 months,, i was playing a game and i had been playing it for a while,, i stoped and put another game in and turned it on .. the red light game on but when i hit the button it would go green then red real fast and it wont stay green,, it wont turn on,, it sucks can anyone tell me what is wrong

I have just the information you are looking for, Im a console repair guy and I have come across the same problem in a console. The culprit is the PS14 fuse. When this is blown or has a bad connection the standy light will stay red, when you press to turn on, it will go green then back to red after about half a second.

Replace PS14 or just bridge a wire over the top. Search for V12 Fuse locations if your not sure where to locate this fuse. (when looking at the bottom of the motherboard its left of the controller ports closer to the bottom, sometimes has "50" marked on it, or "202"
