Hey
New member to the forum, but have read you guys when I needed help. Well, cant find the answer I am looking for. I am not able to back this movie up. I currently use AnyDvd and CloneDvd. I am updated on both programs. There hasnt been a movie yet that I have not been able to back up til this point. Not sure what to do. So any suggestions would be appreciated. Here is what it is saying when trying to back up the movie.

unexpected error

I know it said to send an email, I thought maybe you guys could help me out.

Strange. This isn't some fancy new super duper special edition of the film is it?


I've the widescreen/fullscreen flipper edition put out years back as well as the curent versions of Clone/AnyDVD so I'll run a copy through and see if it's something to do with that particular film.


Have you tried uninstalling, rebooting then reinstalling the apps?

Hmmm. No problems here. I popped it in, told it to rip to an ISO then let her go with no problems.

Does it do this right away or after it's been ripping for a bit?

I pop the movie in after I start the process it gives me the message. I have been able to back up every movie I have....this one is new so I wanted to do it as well. I have rebooted, cleaned the dics and no luck. I even tried to back up another movie after getting the error and it did just fine. It isnt a specail edition, it is the widescreen/fullscreen flip edition like you have.

That's very strange. Can you rip the film with something like DVDFab Decrypter?

This sometimes happens with bootleg pressings but I don't see that film being a biggie in the bootleg scene.
