im going to by a psp and i d like to know which firmware do u recommend.
it would be great if you writte why do u recommend that firmware.

Personally I'd recommend buying a v1.50 if you can get one. But anything up to v2.0 you can downgrade to v1.50. I say this because you can only play backup games on this firmware.

If you get v2.01 or higher you cannot downgrade, therefore you cannot play backup games, only homebrew (old NES/SNES/GENESIS games).

Higher firmwares do have extra features like 2.7 will be compatible with locationfree, firmwares 2.0 and above have a web browser, though I think there is a homebrew browser for v1.50.
