I want to convert my video (.avi) to an ascii video. I have seen this done before http://digg.com/movies/_The_Incredibles_Done_as_an_ASCII_Movie but I want the resulting file to be an actual video file so I can burn it to dvd. I am making a movie for a class at school and have access to video editing software (Adobe After Effects). Is there any easier way to do this than to save each frame as a .jpg convert each of these to ascii and then recompile as a video? Or is there a way to batch process this? I plan on having no more than 10 minutes of video in the ascii form. Thanks in advance. Matt.
