Where was the phone originally purchased? I dont seem to find DIGICEL in T&T. Could it be that someone from the USA sent you the phone?

Please provide:

Model # of phone:
Correct IMEI of phone:
Country the phone is locked in:
Service provider the phone is locked to:

Digicel is an Irish service provider through out most of the carribean, in the phone itself it says Nokia model:3120b
Type:RH-50, FCC ID: PPIRH-50 made in Brazil.
IC: 661U-RH-50
IMEI: 356245004562303
Code:0518855LM09TJ.

On the box, all thats different is it says: DIGIFLEX NOKIA 3120.

Hope this can give some clue...

If no one other than a newbie replies!:
Try this ONCE if you know the risks. You have only 5 tries then you will need a hardware unlock but it should still work on Digicel.
No real loss!!

just my hard luck.... I guess I must've tried more than 4 or 5 times,...its the only time I got the message: "cannot remove restrictions" all other times I got "code error"....so it seeme that may have worked the 1st time.....tuff going..

Yep, 'fraid so.
You can still get it unlocked by a cable thingaing-me-giggy if you need to use it in the US or the other Islands. There are people in T&T that will do it.

I mentioned this to a friend of mine, now he wants his done as well. I have a dct3 software thing, where you enter the IMEI number, but it also asks for a network number. I don't know digicel's network number, so I don't know if this software works, can you either let me know what network number you used, or give me an unlock code for the same model, same network with this IMEI 356245004564663

Be careful. Wrong codes use up your "free" tries.

If you know the risks, try this ONCE and let us know if it works. You have only 5 tries and then it will be hard locked. After that you will need a cable thinga-me-jiggy to unlock it. It should still work on your Network so no big loss.
