I have a Slimline 7500001 ps2 modded with the Cardboard and straw. I also have a codebreaker v. 8.1. I was wonering if I would be able to boot ps1 or Ps2 backups. I know you can't boot them directly.

Thanks for the help!!!

Pyroglade :)

Also, if I could boot backups with swapping ps1 games, that would be great. I'm using Sony CD-R. Not using downloaded games either.

P.S.
I have registered Nero and Alcohol 120%

Hmm..codebreaker..maybe. You need Breaker Pro, I'm not so sure about codebreaker though.

Take a look - http://www.breakerpro.com/

And for backing up PSX games, use something like Alcohol 120%, Nero, or UltraISO to rip an image of the game, then burn it onto good quality cd discs at 4x (slowest)

It will work just the same, as long as you have a tape and tissue mod or something. Straight forward boot cd swaps will not workk, you will have to mod your fliptop, using the tape and tissue mod or something. Search around for a guide on the atape and tissue mod.

EDIT : And go with the Sony CDs :)
