For all you who don't know, DAX ZISO Loader is out and has the fix for that very, very anoying sleep bug and more :). Heres what PSP-Hacks had to say:

As a quick recap: DAX ZISO allows you to load ISOs (of course they must be backed up from an original UMD that _you_ own) from your memory stick (MS). The cool thing is - DAX allows you to compress the ISO using a custom compression algorithm, thus saving more space on your MS. The package includes both the compressor and decompressor, as well as the loader. Enjoy!

Although there had been issues with it as to the sleep mode and some games that use to work doesn't so Dark_AleX says he will work on one tomorrow and release DAX ZISO Loader 0.61 so I just stuck to 0.55.

If i get dax ziso loader do i still need umd emulator or mph game loader or is this a replacement for them both?

No you don't need to have them installed seperately, they are both within the core of daxziso. If you want to use runumd with daxziso, you need to take the runumd EBOOT.PBP from rumund (you can get this from the download section of psp-hacks.com), rename it to runumd.pbp, and put it in the DAXZISO folder on your MS.

so if i wanted to run a mph game loader modded game which i would usually go sytem menu load from umd emu and then mph game loader, i would go onto system load on dax and then back into dax and change mode to mphgl? Also what is runumd? Is fastloader v7 also included in the core?

WELll i am having a problem with daxziso loader. i am using o.62
version. now whatever game i put in the ms they work fine with the emulators but i only get the black screen for any .iso and .dax game i put into the ms. so please help me.i tried changing settings but i didnt get it
i need the complete settings for Burnout legends. GTA LCS and DAXTER
1 more thing the games which i run using umd emu system and them running mph loader . how should i make them work on dax 0.62 in dax format. eg GTA LCS and DAXTER
please someone tell me the complete settings for dax.
i have the firmware dump of 2.00 and its in the mph folder i have replaced the mphloader.prx in dax with the oringianal one. i have not copied the flach files from mph folder to dax folder. they are only in the mph folder . and also i have done the replacement of the runumd name and placed it in the dax folder .... so wat should i do?

I got DAX ZISO Loader 0.6
I run it it gets to the screen when i pick my dax file
I pick it but it thens goes to the black screen of doom?
How do i get it to play my game.

has anyone got a password for Daxziso62_allinone and can it be used for 3.03 oe-c
Daxziso62_allinone i dowanloed it and its asking for a password can any one help me.
some info:
OLDER version of DevHook .46 - the only differnece with the one from above is that this has an unmodified 2.71 firmware. Use the one above!

This is the best full DevHook .46 package I've found. This only includes 2.71 firmware files as I have no need for any others, and its fully modded with a GUI interface and screen shot module, custom boot, playstation font etc - all the bells and whistles. Full credit to 'revolver' from another site who put this particular pack together, and of course respect to all the people who worked on the GUI and various plugins..
Back up your saves . Formatt your memory stick. Unpack the files in the 'PSP_ROOT' to your Memory Stick Root. Now that you have a new install remember to check the settings properly - though they're probably OK.
This devHook runs every single game - no question of any problems or issues with this version of DevHook. GUARENTEED error free on any game from this thread for DevHook.
If you do need an older launcher - then you need this pack which will run everything that DevHook can't.
Please note you can install this loader pack in addition to DevHook, as none of the files clash.
DAXZISO 62 - modified 'All in One' Loader.
PACK FEATURES:-
DAXZISO Loader v .62 - Dark_Alex made thios great tool prior to DevHook 4+ made the breakthrough. Some older titles that have been patched for 'MPH' or RunUMD will not work with DevHook unless they are redumped, so to play them you can install this.
All MPH flash files - you need these to ensure compatability with 'MPH' loader games.
RunUMD - patched to remove the options screen for RunUMD. No more pressing 'o' by mistake - the game will just launch....
New Emulator - basically a renamed UMDEmu - needed for the one or two older games that won't work with the DAXZISO tool.....
Custom Menu Graphics - Didn't like the ones included, so I've replaced the menu graphics with something more tastefull - just for PSPISO, and put together by my own fair hand!

Extract the contents of the rar to the root (top level) of your memory stick. You can now play everything that DevHook can't.
How to use DAXZISO
1) From the psp system menu go to Game / Memory Stick
2) Choose the 'Daxziso loader' icon from the menu - this will bring up the 'Select Game iso' screen. Note the cool design of the menu screens!:) (Or wander if I have any design sense!)
3) Highlight the game you wish to play, then press the 'square' button to bring up the 'Select Game Options' screen.
*** Note**** Once you have set the options and succesfully lauched the game once, you do not need this step. Daxziso remembers your settings so if you have run the game before, you can just start the game by pressing 'X'.
4) Select Game Options.
Here you can choose the settings you need to launch your game. I suggest you leave most of these at the default values... but you will need to change the setting 'emualtion mode' depending on what type of game you are trying to play:
***NOTE*** ALWAYS TRY AND LAUNCH A GAME WITH 'RUNUMD LOADEXEC' FIRST. In ther majority of cases this will get the game running. Only if you have problems try the other options....
RUNUMD game: Set 'Emulation Mode' to 'RUNUMD Loadexec' - select 'start'. Game will launch with no further screens (this version is patched to remove the runumd option screen.)
MPH Loader Game Set 'Emulation Mode' to 'MPHGL Loadexec' - select start. Game will launch with no further screens. In rare circumstances, the game may not load. If this happens, try again, but change the setting 'Use boot bin' to 'on'. That should fix it!
For older games that run under UMDEmu - just run the 'newemulator' loader to ensure compatabillity.

Talk about resurrecting an old thread! I thought a new DAXIZO had come out for a second when I saw the title. I posted in this thread like a year ago! Ah, memories of daxziso.
To answer your question, I'd take a guess at the passowrd as Daxziso62_allinone but it may well not be.
Out of curiousity, why do you want daxziso on your OE-C. Would it not be simpler to compress to .cso?

.jso is another compressed iso format, but I have never used it and don't know many people who do. Most people tend to use .cso
I think with UMDgen or YACC you can convert your .dax straight to .cso
