hey, ive been having some m-a-j-o-r problems with this damn loader. i truly don't think its the iso that im having problems with, but the loader itself..maybe i should go into further detail.i downloaded monster hunter freedom for the psp and got the fix for it off ps2nfo.com. in the fix, it came with a x folder, applyppf.exe, and the patch, and in the readme, it told me to use umdemulator to launch it in system mode, then use runumd. im fairly sure ive patched the iso with the fix patch, considering ive used many programs, and they all are having the same result.not to mention that when i do patch the iso, it says "iso patching successful", so what else can i say? now , when i put it in my iso folder, and i go to umdemulator, put it in system mode or w.e. u call it, and runumd, it doesnt work-at-all. it says "patcher failed" in a red box on the top left handed corner.wtf? and ive used many so many ways to try to get this working and i keep failing.lets start off with how to use a runumd application, do i just load the iso in system mode, then click on runumd and let it run? i need help, thankz

Try the DAX version. Just make the complete ISO into DAX format and keep the X folder in the root and boot from DAX ISO Loader using the Boot Method as RunUMD - LoadExce

Ok i had the same problem as you yesterday and i got it working and fixed it so i will tell you i am new so if i break a rule telling you something please inform me ok so what you do is:

1)Download the iso and patch it with patch-o-matic v3.0 with the patch from ps2nfo

2)Download Dax Iso Loader the newest version out and then download Rub umd and install them both into the usual ms0://psp/game directory

3)copy the eboot from runumd folder and copy it the tha daxiso folder in the root of your mem-stick

4)rename the runumd eboot you just placed into the runumd folder and rename it to RUNUMD

5)place the Monster Hunter Iso into the Iso folder on the root of your memstik

6)disconnect your psp from usb and i say you turn off and then turn your psp on again.

7)Go to the Dax Loader game on your psp and run it then press square and scroll up and change the way it emulates it to "runumd system menu "

8)it will then take you to the psp xbm and scroll to the main game Monster Hunter and click it

9)Then it will then take you to the run umd main page.

10)To load just press x and it will load and then you are finished

11)enjoy Monster Hunter as i am right now

if you have more problems i will try to help but that is a guide i have just wrote and it is as easy as possible for anyone to follow.
