when to updated is that off the battery or somewhere inside the psp?

U can play various homebrew an apps on ur 2.60 if u own a UMD of GTA:LCS via the eloader http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/300895 my guide can help u get homebrew up an going on ur 2.60

ok let me rephrase, When I bought my psp it had version 1.52 and I bought splinter cell and it would not let me play until I had updated it and now I have version 2.60. Now my question is when I updated if I change the battery will my version go back to 1.5 or is there no possible way to put the version back the way it was?

but where did u get ur psp :E lol
and no..if i understand ur question correctly....the firmware is not on the battery -_-;;;
