Where is the cheapest place to get dvd-r? and what is the best kind to get, dvd-r,dvd+r,dvd+rw? and should I get 4x,8x,16x...? The program I am using is 1Click dvd copy pro. Thanks so much for any help you can give me.

Your question depends on your burner. So what make/model burner are you using?

The reason why I ask is because of booktyping. Read my signature for more info. Basically some of the older DVD players have problems with DVD media (especially dual layer) unless they are booktyped.

Most users here use AnyDVD and Nero to backup movies. So Ican't comment on your software.
