CMC Magnetics gets certification for 4x DVD-R DL discs

Here's some news from Taiwan courtesy of DigiTimes.
http://www.digitimes.com/systems/a20060516A7032.html It seems that CMC Magnetics who happens to be the top producer of discs in that area, has obtained certification for 4x DVD-R DL. They are now the first in Taiwan to have this distinction and in the world, there is only one other Japans Mitsubishi Kagaku Media or (MKM). They already have 8x certification for DVD+R DL.
Right now according to the report, only CMC and Ritek are able to produce DVD+R/-R DL discs in any sizable quantity.

Hmm, cockroaches are one of the leading producers of offspring in the world, does that qualify them to produce housepets? If one believes in the hype from marketing, dressing up the little buggers with cute eyes and ears will make them adorable? Toss in a wagging tail and build a play center and heck, who needs hamsters and gerbils anymore? Mass producing crap, dressing it up nicely and calling it quality doesn't work anymore. Wake up CMC.
Kinda sounds like the argument for Irradiated Foods! Meat in particular! That in the slaughtering process sometimes ( CONTAMINATION) happens aslip of the knife an inch one way a 1/4 inch another way and lets just say digestive by product all over your steaks , roast & ribs! But we can irradiate(NUKE) your beef, pork or poultry and kill all bacteria & microorganism making it safe to eat! Which although technically true! Still leaves us with POOP! on our food !! Would you want to be a taste tester when they roll this out? As blivetNC said mass producing crap and calling it quality does'nt work anymore ! No more than putting paper mache' wings on a pig makes it a Victoria's Secret Runway model ! CMC is trying to use the old political hat trick ! repeat a lie often enough and it will become the truth! Don't believe it ! buy quality media it's cheaper in the long run .

You get 2 live roaches with 4 outfits, 8 pairs of eyes, 2 sets of ears and if you buy within 10 minutes throw in a motel!
But, if I sold crap like that to poor suckers, I would not be able to sleep at night and would find myself addicted to Infomercials, and after rotting my brains for 6 months, would suddenly have urge to buy Memosux disks.
