i no that you can use codebreaker/gameshark for the swap trick. Also swap magic and the ps2 demo disc with fifa 01 on it. What else can be used for the ps2 swap trick

that about covers it. I think also memory card exploits can be used for this.

Unless you take the high road and get a good modchip installed in which case you will never have to worry about swapping or any other mods.

I would, just make sure you spend the little extra and get a good one and not one of those cheap $20 clone chips. If you are going to do that then just get Swap Magic and a fliptop

DMS4 Pro is one of the all around best, especially if you ever plan to add a hard drive
Matrix Infinity is also a really good chip
and i have heard good things about the new Crystal Chip V1.1 which when flashed with the hacked firmware has the ability to auto patch back up discs for online play.
They will all cost about $45-$50 at most stores.
but a mod chip is by far the best mod you can do to your PS2 and has many advantages over Swap Magic.
