We have these laptops at work and the admins lock us out from installing anything. Is there any dvd player programs that don't need an installer. Basically just a executable file. Would be of great help.

Media Player Classic is capable of playing DVD videos, has no installer and is free. You can grab the program by following the links below.

Media Player Classic (Windows 2000/XP) - http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/guliverkli/mpc2kxp6490.zip?download

Media Player Classic (Windows 98/ME) - http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/guliverkli/mpc98me6490.zip?download

Just extract the zip file and put Media Player Classic where ever you want.
