i just bought Action Replay MAX EVO, adn i don't know if i can use it with my swapdisc, most of my collection are back-ups this would be a major arse if it don't work.
If you have swap magic you could have downloaded AR (of course, its illegal to do that, that's why you went and bought a copy :) ). But yes you can use SM with AR with backup games no problem
i have ARMAX and swap magic, so im not sure exactly about EVO, but what i do is load ARMAX, go to expert mode, load the codes for my backup game, then when it says to load the game, eject or open the system (depending on if you have the old or the slim ps2, and make sure that you eject or open so that the ps2 knows its open), load swap magic, put the backup in using the disc tray key (or by keeping the sensors down for the slim ps2), load the backup and it will work.
not quite sure, i think that is the only difference, i think i was missing the point, the dvd was spinning when i tried to put the swapdisc in and i think i need to take one of the magic keys 2 off, thanks for the help. anyone considering soft modding f**k it just get it chipped. so much hassle; 4/5 disc changes for one game!!!
oh and my action replay's origional so i haven't been loading it with swapmagic, i gets an insert a ps2 format disc about 85% of the time i start AR up?!

i have a backed up version of armax..and i did everything u did, only thing is my screen goes blank at the end and the game doesnt load...any suggestions pls?
