Where do I go to check and see what speed my Hard Drive is etc. RPM and Cache.

Maxtor Ultra 16
250 GB 7200 RPM
Ultra ATA/133
16MB Cache.

It'll werk, but if you already have 4 ide devices you'll have to get rid of one.

Also, that drive is ATA 133, the board only supports 100, but...it'll work and you won't notice a difference.

Telling us the motherboard you have won't tell us anything about your hdd, btw.

Sure won't. Those are burst rates...basically a seller's marketting scam, seeing as no hard drive under the Raptor sustains transfer rates of more than 60-65MB/sec. Don't get me wrong, for a split second the drive will transfer data at those higher speeds..but it doesn't stay that way.

In order to see what your drives are, you can open your case and take a peek, or use any system information software such as Sisoft Sandra.
