The other day i dropped my psp outside and it was raining at the same time. So i picked up my psp wiped out the rain and put back the battery pack and holder back into place. Now when i turn on my psp, the light comes on but nothing on the screen displays. ALso i hear no sounds ( the psp) aka movement within the psp. I have ordered a replacement for the screen. Whats the problem

Any help would be nice

Place it in a warm place like a hot press (a warm cupboard for clothes, just incase ur american an dont know what i mean) for 24 hours and let it dry out, see if that helps.

Why do u not believe me?
A test was done on a program over here called The Gadget Show, and they tested the durabilty of certain products that came in contact with water, they found that if u leave them in a warm place (not to hot, about 25 degrees) for 24 hours, most of the products returned back to their normal status.
Am not saying it will work for u, but theres no harm in trying.
And maybe leave the UMD latch open.
