backup game wont load with armax

I just Recently Modded my slimline ps2 with modbo 3.1 chip..The backup armax worked just fine but then when i tried to load up the game..with cheats selected,it wont load the game..it kept saying to insert the disc blah blah blah!...not only armax but also codebreaker, gameshark etc..which i downloaded, it also wont load the game...i tried taking out the memory card but still no hope...i also tried it in my friends modded ps2 but his worked fine with my armax and loaded the game with the cheats... neway i have no problems loading the backup games alone..
i hope u can find a solution for my problem...tnx..

Depends on the modchip you have, is your friends the same kind as yours? I have seen many posts here about people not being able to load games with cheat discs with a Modbo chip.

It works fine with my DMS4 Pro, loads up the same with a back up as it would with an original.

It is just a cheap chip, you get what you pay for.
