I work as a quality engineer
Good Points
I have a laugh
I get to do pretty much what i want
Have a couple of good arguments a day
Worst points
Filling out 10 sheets of paperwork because you delivered 100000 parts to a customer and they found 3 bad ones
And my all time favourite worst piece is a '5why' sheet.
The component does not fit!
Why - because it was placed on a tool wrong
why - because the operator is stupid
why - because we pay low wages
why - to increase profits to the already supremely rich owners
why - because he wants to buy another aston martin DB7
ARRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!

We call them countermeasures! LOL
They always have 200 of them floating around the plant at the same time.
We had this one retarded engineer that had to fill out one as to why a pallet of glass got labeled wrong. This engineer-female-turned in the countermeasure stating the associate who tagged the pallet of glass was dyslexic! They threw it in her face and made her write it again, LOL. This engineer is one of Ford Motor's ex-engineers.What a f***Tard! She had 100 projects going on,and non completed. That's why Ford got rid of her.
LOCOENG: When I was little,I thought my uncle worked for the train. I pictured him as a conductor. Years later,I found out he worked at Train airconditioning in clarksville TN., LOL. Huge difference!

I'm an elementary school teacher in SoCal. 16 yrs in, 14 to go! They can't come quick enough. I hate my job. It doesn't even closely resemble what it was when I started! But, at least I'm not working for Ireland.

Im a dyno technician/operator, Basically i stress test brake systems and brake shoes before sending them out to the race track, our company does alot of business with nascar and other motorsport organizations.

HD Staffing, Im a human directional aka sign twirler, starting is $9, and can rise to $15. I work only sat and sun from 11-4, and get 80 dollars a week.

Yeah, I used to play 5-6 times a month. I was never any good, the best I could ever get was 91, but usually hung around 100. I've got to wait on my boy to get a little older and I'll pick it up again.

AAAAARGHH - i hate the dentist - nothing personal, but they just cause you pain in the mouth then pain in the wallet LOL :-)
i guess they are ok when you have a toothache & the rip the sucker out! (especially when the tooth fairy comes & leaves $1) LOL
a visit to the dentist is something we hate to do, but something we should all do for our own good.

After 41+ years with the federal government, I retired on 12 May 06 at 80% of my salary (6 figures). Started to work as a consultant on 15 May 06 at the same salary I had with the government before I retired. Gotta luv this system.

Reminds me of Jack Nicholson's first big starring role in Little Shop of Horrors! MORE ... MORE LOL! I must confess that, like gjl2002, I am also something of a white - knuckler despite my dentist's heavy use of the N2O ... I've faced and endured spinal fusions with far greater composure LOL! There must be one of those cool phobia names...I'll have to look it up.

Believe it or not I am the Customer Support manager for one the last remaining zipper mfg. in the US. Most of the industry has gone overseas. I do alot of sales work but I often have to listen and deal with customer complaints. Please fellas no fly(pants) jokes, I have heard them all. :)
On weekends I work with my fiance, she has her own cellphone business and I help her deal with her customer crap. All work and no play, man I need a vacation!! LOL

Seen a lot of teeth lost from Dental Phobia. A lot of ppl suffer from it. How you been doing? Your Dad's BD pretty soon huh? Pretty cool. My Dad's been gone for 23 years, still miss him. Mom's still going strong at 86 tho.
