i was wondering if you can fix a ps2 that keeps coming up with "Disc Read Error"? I have a slimeline that does it and its only 6 months old! I Had to buy another one last month! Thanks

if it is not modded then you should contact Sony about getting you a new one.
You could always have a laser fix installed in your next one so that it may not happen.
I have a V12 which is said to be the worst slimline around. It has a DMS4 Pro Modchip which would make the laser problem more likely to happen. But i also have a Summone Laser Fix as well. It has been running fine for over a year now.
