When I'm going to convert my 25fps PAL video in TMPGEnc to 29.97 NTSC DVD, the little chart under step 4/5 in the project wizard says that under a 4500 bitrate my video is 235.72% of a 4.7 GB DVD. All my other videos that I have converted were about 98% of the disc but this one is 235.72%. Why? I also noticed that it says that the length of the video is 278 min. and 27 seconds while its really only 92 min. and 48 seconds. Please Help! Thanks in Advance.

Hi, EPL!

NTSC is CBR and PAL is VBR, so you may have to try and reduce the bitrate on the NTSC conversion.

I wonder though, whether you notice any jerky motion in the playback? I have tested the NTSC 23.976 fps to PAL 25 fps and to NTSC 29.97 fps and each time there is a definite jerky motion.

Cheers
