Does anyone know where to find the full version of RunUMD or G3N3SIS? All I can find are the 10 min versions. Or, if anyone knows how to run the GTA UMD on v1.5 please help.

you have full versions of those emus. the prollem is that they arent compatible with gta itself.
to run gta you are going to need umdemulator and you are going to need mph:http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/348
set isolation mode in umdemulator to system menu and when it takes you back out to the menu start up mph and the game will work.

Joeva, I have always used UMDEmulator to load ISOs, not UMDs. When I change the mode to System Menu and press X it brings me to my list of ISOs. I cannot return to the system menu and see the GTA UMD inserted. I only see the emulated UMD of an ISO I choose. If you could please walk me through step by step, that would be great. This is the last real hurtle I'm trying to conquer for a friend of mine, I introduced him to the world of v1.5 but he still wants to play his GTA UMD. Thanks.

oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo i am so sorry i got it now:
Sign up at ps2nfo.com, its free and it lets you download this :http://www.ps2nfo.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&file=viewarticle...
Put that in the mph game loader folder that is in your root folder of your memory stick.
Now to run your GTA UMD, You set emulation mode in UMDemulator to NONE.
Press Triangle.
Go to MPH Gameloader from the PSP menu.
Voila.

You are the man. I have been looking hardcore how to get this working, and now I know. Thanks a ton. One more question, does this work for the ISO also? The forementioned steps did not work for my ISO, maybe it was because I did not make it myself and it has been shrunk. Any input would be great.

Nevermind, your steps do work for the ISO, now I jsut need a 2gig stick to fit the original ISO, not a ripped one. Thanks!
