hello firstly my freind has a psp that he wants to sell. im not into gaming since i got a ps2 well he wants two hundred dollars for a sony console, battery, ac adapter,32 mb and 128 mb memory stic, 3 games(gta liberty city stories, pursuit fore and another that i dont know) he doesnt have a propper case, earphones, instructions or cases for games, so what are your opinions on it?

Ask him what firmware is on the console, if it is 2.0 or below you have yourself a great deal, and even if you get bored of it you can resell for a lot more online!


i hesistated for months bout getting one, but since i got my v1.5 i have not been off it.
have a browse through this forum and the information that is on here about what u can do with PSP should convince you!

how much do you figure a psp with a 1.5 firmware would sell for?

with some iso's, rom's, and homebrews? get everything all hooked up for them so all that they would have to do is turn it on and enjoy. and hell several disks full of roms and ISO's. and on those disks i can put instructions on all of the problems that he might have.

if i get everything situated it would be worth what? 300-450 dollars.

i would by a new psp and get a little mula for a PS3.

1.5 can play back-ups and 2.0 cant.
2.0 has internet naturally, 1.5 doesn't.

If you bought a 2.0 yes you could downgrade it. But 2.0 is the only version that is downgradable.
