genuine Taiyo Yudens would be MY suggestion...

are just a few REPUTABLE online retailers to purchase genuine TYs (taiyo yudens) from...the DVD-R format is cheaper than the DVD+R counterpart, but your choice of format is naturally YOUR CHOICE.

Verbatims found locally, as they are the same price regardless of format...

What type of media? I go with taiyo yuden/verbatim/and maxell hitachi on all my printable media-Inkjet printables. Verbatim only for lightscribe media and Dual layer.

How are you labeling your dvds? Inkjet printer/thermal printer/Sticker labels?

Those sites kivory666 posted has them,just use caution.The shiny inkjet printable and shiny thermals look the same-huge price difference.
