I know several people have asked about this, but none of it has helped me at all.

I just bought WinDVD Creator Plus AVDV. Previously, I had the Dazzle 80, but I wasn't at all happy with it. I had a problem with no sound with the Dazzle, but I solved that by plugging the audio cable into the Line In port and enabling microphone.

Well, I now am using WinDVD, and once again, no sound. Video is great, and I'm extremely happy I can get it to capture in a larger size. But no sound. I did everything I did to make it work with Dazzle, and it's not working. I've doublechecked that the cables from the vcr to the pc are correct, and I've enabled microphone, and even tried selecting analog mix in the sound record settings instead. Nothing is working, and I just have no clue what to try next. I do have line-in checked as my audio source in WinDVD, so that's not it. I've even tried capturing in both mpg and avi, just in case the problem might be there. It's not.

Does anybody have a clue what the problem is? Maybe somebody else who's used this program? I'm running it on Windows XP Home, if it matters. Please help!
