ok once i burn a movie or music to a dvd-rw or a cd-rw how do i delete the movie/music when i don't want it any more?

It'll be deleted whenever you want to burn something else on the disk. If you want to erase it, then you can use Nero Burning ROM, Nero CD-DVD Drive Speed, DVDInfoPro, DVD Decrypter, etc. to just simply erase it.
