Hi there...let's see, to decrypt a dvd, would be the first step? Do I need to use BOTH DVDFab and DVDDecrypter or would one of these be sufficient? If so, which one? Also, would I use a decrypter FIRST and THEN use DVDShrink, or do I first shrink it and THEN decrypt? I have never been successful at backing up a decrypted dvd. Thanks!

Use DVDFab Decrypter and rip your movie then open Shrink and compress if you do not have Nero, then you will need a burning engine and DVDDecrypter is free and will burn your output file as long as it is in iso file format, and you have this checked and chosen in your preferences. Here is a guide

Oops! I meant I have never been successful at backing up an ENCRYPTED dvd!
Also, I use Cheetah DVD Burner to burn my dvd's. It's fantastic.
