Extracting Audio from a PS2 game, How on a Mac?

My daughter is hooked on this Spyro: A Hero's Tail game I bought for her last Christmas. Unfortunately, a side effect of this wonderful little electronic fantasy world is that I am now hooked on the in-game music. I'd like to find a way to extract the music so I can listen to it separately from the game. I have searched for PC and Mac utilities that could do this, but there doesn't seem to be much of anything for the Mac in this area, and the tools I've found for the PC deal with file formats that the disc doesn't have. There are .pss files on the root of the disc, but they do not contain the in game music. There are 2 folders. One called "IOPFILES", with 15 files in it, but they are all small files, 270kb or less, each. The other folder, called "DATA" contains a 32kb file called "FILELIST.BIN" and a 635.5mb file called "FILELIST.000". I believe the music it in this file. Is there a way to scan the file, or extract music from it? What programs for Mac or PC would you recommend? Thank you very much for your assistance. (My sanity thanks you, too.)
