How do i take off my stock jewel? sorry if this is the wrong place to post.

Hello everyone. i am working on getting a new jewel, but first i need to take off my old one. and id rather find out how to take it off then try to and have a chance of breaking somethin. so how do i take off my original green xbox jewel? is it stuck on with double sticky tape?
V1.0, WD 120gig HD, Xecuter 3 CE chip, Latest BIOS,
Front Control Panel, LED's, Cold Cathodes, Lighted controller ports, red eject LED, custom jewel with red neon ring, ATA166 HD cable
-Dashboards/Operating Systems: X3 Dash, EvoX, RemoteX, XBMC, UnleashX, Avalaunch, Emulators and much more

Heat it up w/ a hair dryer for about 2 mins....then it will peel clean off.
Proud owner of an original release day V1.0 Xbox w/ Xenium ICE SP, Xenium 2.3.1 OS, w/ Avalaunch, Evox, and XBMC dashboards.
I can mod an Xbox in 3 minutes or less!

I took mine off yesterday when I painted my xbox. I used the freezer method and it worked good for me, but it takes a while and patience. I left mine in the freezer for 2 hours then hit the jewel from the underside of the case with the handle of a screw driver and it popped right off. There was very very little glue stuck onto it :). I then used goof off to clear the jewel and it worked like a charm. Crystal clear :).. but I painted it.. :)

Oo yeah I've seen those nice choice :P.
Are you going to be painting your xbox, adding LED's, etc? Or just replacing the jewel?

well im accualy adding LED's to the controler ports and putting a brighter one in the eject button. and iv already put a decal kit on the xbox as u can c on the pic so im not gunna be painting it. and im adding cold cathode lights underneath
