Hey ppl.. I'm relatively a newbie to this as I just got a PSTwo of my own. I have a few questions that I'm sure you're all sick and tired of reading, but I have been trolling through every PS2 Forum I can find the past 3 days and revising all methods of modding my machine and still have a problem in gettin USBAdvance to kick in.
I have a PS2Two (Slimline) (SCH-70003) and I have modded it as descibed in the following Tutorial which enables swapping media without the PSTwo realising the CD lid being opened (bypasses the sensors) - http://pstwo.ps2nfo.com/
I have ARMax and I'm able to run CDLoader.elf via CD in Max Media Player and I use the Original GTA S.A as the swap DVD as it has a high TOC (over 4GB) this method works but does not run Black which I have burnt onto an Intenso DVD-R, perhaps there's a fix req'd, not sure but 4getting abt that method for just a second.. I have tried loading CDLoader.elf via my USB pendrive (which has been formatted using the USBExtreme ul_format utility but Max Media Player says the is no media files on Pendrive. Q1 - Is there a method of formatting the pendrive and adding the files that I have missed or overlooked?
So.. I have Modded PSTwo, ARMax CD (Original), USB Pendrive, External Hitachi 80Gb HDD and 16MB Max MC. I have d.loaded every piece of Homebrew software imaginable and burnt to CD's and DVD-r's (Cogswaploader, USBAdvance/USBExtreme, CDLoader, IC3 etc etc) and tried every tutorial mentioned in all Forums I can find and still cannot get USBAdvance to boot. Q2 - Is it possible to boot USBAdvance via CDLoader CD loaded via Max Media Player? if not, is there a way at all? (I do not have original Swap Magic CD/DVD but have d.loaded it ready to be burnt)
Basically, my main objective is to get USBAdvance to boot via ARMax and/or CDloader or equivilent or USB Pendrive to play games that I have on my Ext HDD (installed using USBExtremes ul_install utility).

Sorry, but after wasting countless CDRs and running round in circles I came across a thread in here.. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/337567 This ARMax exploit is exactly what I was looking for and if followed precisely the exploit works like a dream. (PSTwo v13)
