hi, just bought a psp and i have version 2.5, i need to downgrade to 2.0 then to 1.5, does any one have any links to download and show me what to do?
please help me please!

You can't do this mate, 2.0 is the highest firmware you can downgrade

don't know mate, possibly. Just don't go buying any dodgy downgraders off ebay, they don't work and you'll probably brick your psp. Just keep checking here and psp-hacks.com, as soon as one is released there will be info on these sites.

Orrrr, you can throw your PSP out the window and buy a 1.5/2.0 off eBay. That always works, though it may not be efficient.

looks like u have 2 wait for the just announced psp mod chip to be released if u want to be able to run homebrew on the 2.5, sorry:(

Its a god send to psp fw owners that have a 2.01 or higher. It will allow u to play iso's and hoembrew like a 1.5, and will even fix a bricked psp!!!!

You need to open up your PSP though, which will void warrenty, which will mean if you mess up installing the modchip you wont be able to send it back to Sony to get it repaired. So get it done at a shop or be extra careful when installing.
