Hi there, I've had a nightmarish time trying to get unlock codes. I've blocked two phones to date. Is there any chance that someone who is actually good at this business could provide me with the unlock code for the following details?
Nokia 6010
Cingular network, originally, hoping to open it to a T-Mobile. Both US networks.
IMEI is 010702/00/307380/5, according to the inside of the phone.
I've failed with two other phones, so I took them back and bought a new one. I've provided the details of the new phone in the original thread. I entered a whole load of bad codes, which disabled the last phones. When I say "bad", I mean that the codes that I entered were not unique to the particular phone that I was trying to unlock. All I was trying to say was that I need the correct code - so if you could provide them that would be great. I have no idea how you get these codes, but it'd be great if you could wing them across. Did you check with IMEI: *#06# ,Firmware Version: *#0000# .
If you know the risks, try this ONCE and ONLY ONCE and let us know if it works. You have only 5 tries and then it will be hard locked. After that you will need a cable thing-a-me-jiggy to unlock it. It should still work on your Network so no big loss.

After the phone boots up, press #
Press * 3 times fast for (p) \
Press * 4 times fast for (w) IMPORTANT
Press * 2 times fast for (+) /
IMPORTANT!!
Verify code before pressing the last #.
Note: Some Phones require that you to insert a non accepted sim, you will see "phone restricted", press UNDO option and enter the code in the restriction box and press enter.)
"Phone restrictions off", it's unlocked.
"Error code" wrong code.
"Not allowed" hard locked. Used up all your free tries!!
