New problem with booting games and slim ps2 laser

When I put my swap magic 3.3 or 3.6 into my slim ps2, and it loads up. I swap my disc, but when I press Load Program, the ps2 begins to click and the laser seems to move irregularly when I open the ps2 and look at the disc while its spinning.

I tried cleaning the laser using a q tip and hydrogen peroxide, but because I didn't know where the laser was, I just assumed it didn't involved going into the ps2, and that it was the little laser thing under the disc. So I cleaned that. And tried it again. And the same thing happened. Can anyone help me with this?

The laser is beneath the little glass eye you see in the cd tray, it moves back and forth, use a qtip to clean it, if you are using swap magic, im assuming you can leave the lid of the playstation 2 open while its reading games, so leave it open, and let it read a dvd game, check to see if the laser lights up, if it doesnt, or if its dim, then in means theres a problem with the laser, or it could just be dislodges out of position, which is highly unlikely since the playstation automatically moves the laser back to the starting position if it was forced out of place, but it is possible.

I tried fixing the ps2, but cleaned the black thing that the laser moves towards with those bars (at the side). I realized that wasnt the laser, but when I started my ps2, the laser would only stay in one spot, and wouldn't spin the disk. It would stutter, and move a little, then stop.
