1. Asking how to backup a burned disc - if you bought it then you have the original so there is no need for this question.
2. Damaged or Scrathed discs. If you just bought it why would it be scratched or damaged? This only happens with discs that are rented not with New discs.
Personally, I have found some hard to find titles at Pawn Shops, yard sales, etc, for a couple of bucks that aren't in the greatest condition. When the software tools don't work, I rent a copy and back up from that.
Taylor30 doesn't have kids obviously, nor does he play his DVD's in a mini-van. These are the two most destructive forces on the planet as far as I am concerened when it come to DVD disks. Can't tell you how many times I've backed up Hamtarro because the little one leaves it on the couch when she is done with it and someone else sits on it.
Ok "taylor30"
In reguard to your post what if people are renting, how dose that affect the purpose of this site, " This site and a lot like help spread knowledge, and experince, "with you yourself being a "Junior Member" you have been around a while. Keep in mind I do not support piarcy I support the site, and the information with in it, You can't gage how a person uses his or her knowledge, You can not expect everyone on the internet to play 100% by the rules....and let me ask you a question Have you ever rented a movie or game backed it up and took it back? You don't have to reply online (because we don't boast about piarcy) but think about it.
Just in you are wondering what I mean by knowledge in "piarcy" think about it some people think that to copy "back-up" :-)) a movie you can put it in a Cd-rom and click copy. "IT DOESN'T MATTER IF THEY ARE RENTING"

How you can tell:
1. Asking how to backup a burned disc - if you bought it then you have the original so there is no need for this question.
2. Damaged or Scrathed discs. If you just bought it why would it be scratched or damaged? This only happens with discs that are rented not with New discs.
These posts should be deleted.

How about the people who are buying previously rented DVDs from Blockbusters or other stores. Also some brand new discs won't backup because of bad pressings. Discs do get misplaced and dropped. So before you post think thru all the alternatives and scenarios.
I don't like what is being implied here, taylor30. Are you saying that you have never dropped a CD or DVD before? What if you make a copy of a bought disc & you lose the original?
Who the hell made you in charge of what should be deleted & what should not?

"I never thought of that. In that case it would be ok."
Oh Hallelujah, I will sleep tonight safe in the knowledge that you think it is OK.
Unless you have a pertinant point to make (that does not include accusing members of piracy) I suggest you should not bother. I sincerely hope that you do not make these sort of stupid posts again. I will treat your comments with the absolute contempt they deserve, I suspect I am not the only one who feels like this.
can ye not spek plane engleash, whot r u trying to saaaaaa.
Hey pulsar your right on the money he is implying something but due to the way he said it well its very open to interpretation, think its another case of foot and mouth.Taylor30 has a servere case, both feet are in there

- i don't own a telepathy hat so of course we don't know if ppl really own a disc they're talking about. However, starting a thread such as this always a) either causes trouble or b) invites ppl to discuss rent and burn.
