Im not exactly sure about this point of modchip.. I?ve never owned a console until I bought my psp.. if this modchip works..what can I do with it? It says I can run older firmware and stuff.. and unassigned homebrews? Does that mean on a 2.1+ firmware can do anything 1.5 firmware can do? Like reading iso on memory stick and all homebrew applications?

Yea, it basically gives you the functionality of a 1.5 PSP on any firmware such as 2.5 or 2.7

Why the hell would anybody preorder a modchip from a site that has just as much info as anybody else does. They know exactly all we know, which isn't much.

well there havent been that many people teting them out. They sent some chips to the people in the high slots. they didn't say much from what i heard.

but all that i know is after i get a PS3 im going to get one of these Mod Chips.

(the only broblem is that i can't put it in. :P )

Actually inside the PSP, so if you mess it up, youve voided warranty and cant replace it...
