Hey guys-

Where can I get the Flash0/Flash1 files from the 2.6 update? I'm helping a guy get his UMD's for MGA2 and Syphon Filter running on his 1.5.

Or, if for some reason, you can't find the Flash files, a tool to pull them out of the 2.6 update would work great too.

you can't extract 2.60 flash yet. Only 2.50. You can use the MPH Firmware Launcher and you'll need the 2.50 eboot.

You can too extract the 2.6-2.7 flash files. You just can decrypt them yet. Download FakeUpdater.

Here's the 2.6 Eboot.

Now, put the fakeupdater folders in your /PSP/GAME folder. Then put the 2.6 Update Eboot in the PSP/GAME/FakeUpdater/Update folder. After doing that start up the FakeUpdate program. When it starts it will ask you this: "Do you want to fake-update to firmware 2.60." Choose Yes. Then it will go to a screen that says loading PSAR data. After serveral seconds a message will come up that says: "Update data is loaded in RAM. Do you want to delete the update file to free space?" Again, choose Yes.
