hi
this is probably a question asked by a thousand ppl on this thread befroe but i was wondering if anyone could let me know either in this thread or PM me...about where on the internet i can download ps2 PAL iso's..i have tried using a few torrent sites but then when i go to download the torrent i wait for hours and nothing happens...could this have anything to do with me living in Australia? sorry im just new to all this and even if someone could tell me where to find iso's in .zip or etc that would be VERY helpful

also what bit torrent client are u using? sometimes torrents do take a while to get started as you are in a Q. PAL or NTSC shouldn't matter or at least it dont with swapmagic 3.6 i think mod chips play both aswell. also please have a good read of this

thanks for the help....i still find most sites people are complaining of the speeds....like anything under 30kbps seems like a waste of time....so am i ever gonan get faster than that?...and also if anyone could help me with a working fight night round 3 torrent would be great... i have found some but they are all dad

theres a lot of reasons for slow downloads (sometimes I only get 250kBs )

It depends on what client you using, modem or router (this needs setting proper for port forwarding and firewall) your broadband speed (i'm getting 6 OR 7 Mb) also try to pick torrents with a good seed to leech ratio i.e the more seeds there are and the less leechers the faster the download

sorry still no luck with the torrents i am looking for...anyone know if any sites where you could just download the iso in a zip file of something..and would it wouldnt be illegal if i already own the games...would it...lol

Word of advice, many newsgroups cost money:) Torrents are awesome btw

If you already own the game, its a weird situation. On one hand, u own the rights to that copy of the game, but on the other hand, YOU only own the rights to the game u purchased, not every other copy in existence.

That's true, although for about $10/month, if you have unlimited broadband (which we don't have here in New Zealand - it's not even offered), it'll be a lot faster than torrent... but yeah I'm more a torrent guy
